Unlike many engineering firms, Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. has developed Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology services. Our in-house data and on-board systems include ESRI’s ArcGIS Software and Autodesk’s Map. We maintain a large reference library of data relative to our region. This database includes past project cross referencing for research, GPS survey data, Ventura County GIS data (parcels, APNs, acreages, roads, and much more), and Ventura County high resolution digital aerial photo imagery. With the variety of GIS data available to us, we can prepare maps for planning presentation and engineering analysis in a very short time frame. Using GIS data, we are able to integrate this information into our AutoCAD drawings thereby allowing us to prepare a broader range of visual exhibits for our client’s projects.
