Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. has been involved in some of the largest mixed-use and planned development projects in Ventura County.  These projects have achieved land planning goals of combining residential, public recreational, commercial, institutional, and open space components within the neighborhood plans.  Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. strives to be the leader in designing and engineering these mixed use developments where the community can live, work and play.

D.R. Horton – Village at the Park Specific Plan, Camarillo, CA Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. is the engineer of record for Village at the Park, a planned residential community in the City of Camarillo. Our services include on-going engineering design and construction survey. The project consists of 320 acres, with 644 residential units in a mixture of densities, product types, and styles. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. prepared construction documents for a 138-unit condominium complex (Wickford), Rio Rosal Elementary School, a 104-unit detached condominium project, Cedar Creek and Kensington single-family houses, as well as plans for future phases of Tract 5368-4 and Tract 5367-4. Other work includes the preparation of plans for the widening of Calleguas Creek in conjunction with the Ventura County Watershed Protection District.

Seabridge – Channel Islands; Oly Mandalay Partners, Oxnard, CA Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. provided the concept design, land planning, design engineering, and construction surveying for this 135-acre, mixed-use marina project. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. also prepared the tentative map defining a mixed-use project within the Mandalay Specific Plan area. This project has a multitude of complex components, including 23 acres of water, 16 acres of parks, over 20 acres of commercial use, and a public boat launching facility. Residential components included over 700 units, an eight-acre recreational bay, two residential islands with associated road crossings, and complex infrastructure design. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. coordinated with two architectural firms, three developers, and another civil engineering firm.

SunCal, WestPort at Mandalay Bay, Oxnard, CA Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. completed the project design, site plan, tentative map, and construction survey. The plan layout included a combination of single-family lots, duplex units, townhouses, and mixed-use area condominiums, totaling 308 units. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. coordinated with the City of Oxnard and the Coastal Commission throughout the planning and approval process. A significant public access and recreational park system exists throughout the project.
