Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. provided entitlement permitting, engineering, and construction survey services for a 12,500 square foot state-of-the-art wine making facility in Oak View. The building contains designated areas for grape crushing, fermentation, barrel storage, case goods storage, offices, and a quality control laboratory. The facility will begin producing wine in fall 2011. The project required a Conditional Use Permit from the County of Ventura and a sewer main extension from Ojai Valley Sanitary District which triggered LAFCo review and approval. Engineering services included grading and stormwater plans, utilities, and was modified during the design process to include an onsite farm manager’s house.
